The GSRC is actively searching for (15) undergraduate students for our 2026 - 2027 student leadership team! These students would serve as either Student Lead Coordinators or Student Coordinators and support a variety of GSRC operations, initiatives, and programming.

During the 2026 - 2027 academic year, the Gender + Sexuality Resource Center is hiring (5) student lead coordinators to assist with the peer management of the GSRC Women & Fem Initiatives Committee, the Queer & Trans Initiatives Committee, GSRC Peer Education & Library, GSRC Program Operations, and GSRC Marketing.
The available positions are as follows:
Women & Fem Initiatives Student Lead Coordinator (1 position)
Queer & Trans Initiatives Student Lead Coordinator (1 position)
GSRC Peer Education & Library Lead Coordinator (1 position)
GSRC Program Operations Lead Coordinator (1 position)
GSRC Marketing & Communications Lead Coordinator (1 position)
The mission of the Women & Fem Initiatives Committee is to design programs and help shape advocacy around women & fem issues and topics. The mission of the Queer & Trans Initiatives Committee is to do the same with a focus on Queer & Trans issues and topics.
The Education & Library, Program Operations, and Marketing & Communications Lead Coordinators are still expected to serve on either the WFI or QTI Committee while helping oversee, and support, both committees based on their area of focus.

These interns will each be responsible for a specific area of focus such as: operations, education & library, marketing, or affinity programs.

The Operations Team is responsible for areas such as:
Program scheduling, calendar management via MPU and GSRC website, purchasing and reconciling WFI/QTI program budgets with GSRC staff, GSRC maintenance and upkeep, and more. The Operations lead will serve as the primary organizer for the operations team with support from the GSRC associate director. (3 total student staff - 1 QTI, 1 WFI, 1 Floating/Lead)

The Education & Library Team is responsible for areas such as:
Writing and publishing educational content via social media and the GSRC newsletter, preparing educational content for GSRC signature programs, writing blogs posts and reflections on key dates/programs related to the GSRC, leading the mobile library tabling initiative, and more. The Education & Library lead will serve as the primary organizer for the operations team with support from the GSRC associate director and Student Leaderships and Communication program coordinator. (3 total student staff - 1 QTI, 1 WFI, 1 Floating/Lead)

The Marketing Team is responsible for areas such as:
Preparing the GSRC newsletter, assisting with graphic design, leading the GSRC reels schedule for social media, maintaining the GSRC bulletin boards, consistently updating flyers around campus, assisting with campus & community partnerships, and more as assigned. The Marketing lead will serve as the primary organizer for the operations team with support from the GSRC Student Leadership & Communications program coordinator. (3 total student staff - 1 QTI, 1 WFI, 1 Floating/Lead)
